"Post-classical ambient music evokes wavering, stagnant memories.."

In addition to melody-based solo piano works, this album is mainly ambient works with an abstract approach. While retaining the magnificent impression of the first and second albums, all the performances are done by himself.
In particular, as bassist on many of the songs, he adopted various playing techniques and pursued a new sound.
It also features field recordings and sounds of materials such as rain, wind chimes, a bonfire on a riverbed, and the sound of digging in the ground,
On tracks 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, and 10, the piano, bass, and guitar are improvised to create a free and pleasantly textured sound.
The sound seems to blend into the landscape, wavering and awakening memories that have stagnated deep in the soul.

■ Shingo Mimura Profile:
Based in Kobe, Japan, Shingo Mimura is a multi-talented producer, composer, arranger, pianist, bassist, and music director.

His music features soft piano and melodies mixed with beauty and fragility, and he is highly regarded for his visual and artistic expressiveness with large-scale arrangements that include strings.

His music has been featured in theaters, advertising video works, as well as background music for many games and events.

His first Album “Heart Sky Door” was released in Sep 2018 by PROGRESSIVE FOrM, a prestigious electronic music label in Japan. His second album “Two Dreams Flew Over A Pine Tree” was released in Nov 2021, and 3rd album "105 years" was released in Dec 2022.

Shingo Mimura has played in concert halls, churches, important cultural properties, planetariums, and other venues. He performs in various styles, including solos and ensembles with strings.

In addition to his solo work, he is also a member of the ambient pop group “coconoe” formed by three musicians, Takayama Naoko, Kita Kouhei, and Shingo Mimura.
They released their first album “A Halo of Light One Day” in Dec 2019, and their second album “The Dolphins’ Long Dream” was released in Nov 2020.

今作はメロディ主体のピアノソロ作品に加え、抽象的なアプローチによるアンビエント系作品が主体となっており、1st、2ndのような壮大な印象は残しつつ、全ての演奏を一人で行っている。
特に多くの曲でベーシストとして様々な奏法を取り入れ、新しいサウンドを追求した。
また雨、風鈴、河川敷での焚き火、土を掘る音などフィールドレコーディングや物の音を取り入れ、
02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 10トラックではピアノ、ベース、ギターはインプロヴィゼーションによる演奏を行うことで自由で心地良いテクスチャーを描いている。
風景に溶け込むようなサウンドは、ゆらゆらと、心の奥底で澱んだ記憶を呼び覚ますよう。

舞台、広告映像作品への楽曲提供、ゲーム、イベント等のBGMを多数制作。
