Original soundtrack of "Fudarakutokaiki" by the theater company "Knit Cap Theater" in Kyoto.

Fudaraku Pure Land, where Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva resides in the distant South Seas. Once upon a time, there were believers who crossed the sea with only a small amount of food on a rough ship.
The great spectacle "Fudarakutokaiki" written based on this historical fact.
A play world created by imagination!

kita kouhei Profile:

Born in 1976, a musician, percussionist, and Array Mbira player living in Kyoto. An artist who creates a unique sound landscape that fuses live musical instruments and electronic music by making full use of the piano that he has been familiar with since childhood, the aesthetic sensibility of paintings that he has always spent with, and the skills of professional percussionists. He also works on commercials, documentary programs, avant-garde stage performances and music for art events.

■ 『劇団・ニットキャップシアター『補陀落渡海記』のオリジナル・サウンドトラック。』

はるか南洋の彼方、観世音菩薩が住まう補陀落浄土。かつてそこを目指して、粗末な船にわずかな食事のみを積み渡海した信仰者たちがいた。

この史実を元に書かれた井上靖の同名小説を原作に、ごまのはえ氏が書き上げた一大スペクタクル『補陀落渡海記』。

ごまのはえ氏と仲谷萌氏の初共同演出と、音楽家・北航平とのコラボレーションによる、想像力が生み出す劇世界！

舞台の最後を締めくくるカーテンコールの感動をもう一度！

■ 北航平_kita kouhei プロフィール
京都市在住の音楽家。打楽器やアレイムビラ・カリンバなどを使って、自由に絵を描くように音を作りたい。猫のチェロとの昼寝と、小さな楽器を使ったり探したりするのが好き。
3人の音楽家（北航平・高山奈帆子・ミムラシンゴ）によるユニットでも活動中。
また時々、演劇の音楽や、ドラマやCM・ドキュメンタリー番組などの音楽も作る。第51 回ギャラクシー賞CM部門選奨受賞の音楽も担当。
現在、創作活動とそれを邪魔するかわいい猫との共存を模索中。
